Purpose
The Cente for Research on Social Inclusion was established in January 2003 to stimulate multi-disciplinary social, cultural and philisophical research on key social issues. It comprises of a multidisciplinary team of researchers with expertise in the field of social inclusion and exclusion. Broadly defined, this includes into the social, cultural, economic and political determinantions of inclusiona nd exclusion (particularly in the contect of globalisation) and the understanding of social division (around race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, disability and age.)
