Following this success, he has recently won an ASRF Grant for $20,000 which will be matched by industry and Macquarie University to develop normative data pertaining to individuals resting on their back and side to determine which is the best suited or most appropriate mattress. This study will use pressure mapping and alignment instrumentation systems to measure these observations. These Grants will be valued at $60,000.
He is also developing a large cross-over clinical trial to test the efficacy of the Vax-D traction device on chronic disc lesions. He is preparing a MU External Collaborative Research Grant to fund this with an industry partner.
