Katie Hardy

B App Sci (Ex & Sp Sci)

 

Ms. Katie Hardy graduated from t he University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) in 2005. She now currently studies at Macquarie University, studying a Masters of Chiropractic, Qualifying Program. In January 2005 Katie was appointed research assistant for the ONE Research Foundation. She now studies full-time, as well as continuing her work in developing research interests.

Ms. Hardy currently is involved with large scale randomised controlled trials investigating chronic pain and the application of biopsychosocial models in chiropractic treatment. Katie has been involved in studies examining hamstring injuries in elite athletes, analysis of the golf swing and reviews into the mechanisms of the stress response. Katie has a keen interest in sports related injuries and the nature of biopsychosocial pain in chiropractic.
