Dr Bernadette Murphy
Research Interests
Research interests include exercise rehabilitation and neurophysiology, Dr. Murphy is interested in a comprehensive model of exercise rehabilitation where physical, psychological and neuromuscular factors are assessed before and after various exercise interventions. She is interested in the alterations in sensory processing accompanying various musculoskeletal pain states and their effect on motor control. This work is relevant to chronic muscle pain syndromes such as low back pain and overuse syndromes.
