Seminars
Throughout the year the Department of Chiropractic hold specialised seminars for Chiropractic students, staff, alumni and members of the community. Each semester academics and students organise special guest lectures to come and present to the chiropractic peer group with industry knowledge and insight into the chiropractic profession. The department has been privileged in the past to host talks from industry professionals such as; Dr. Anthony Rosner, Dr. Derek Mahony, Dr. Allan Kalamir, Dr. Geoff Lambert, Natalie Wallace and many more. The department is also pleased to have had their very own leading academics and tutors present seminars in the field of their ongoing research such as; Assoc Prof Subra Vemulpad, Dr. Peter Tuchin, Dr. Allan Kalamir and Anthony Nicholson.
Vacation supervised practice (VSP) 2010
The next offering of Vacation Supervised Practice is planned for April 2010 on 6th, 8th, 13th and 15th from 9 to 11 am. These offerings are outside of the Curriculum, totally optional and by no means obligatory. No new material will be offered. These are opportunities for students to maintain their Manual Chiropractic Skills level between Semesters, if they so desire.

Visiting Speaker Form to be completed and given to Ramon Fernandez for approval from Head of Department

Contact Lauren Hargreaves (9850 7779) from U@MQ for on-campus room bookings. Students are required to show the approved Visiting Speaker form to U@MQ.

U@MQ will let the student know when the room has been booked. They will also advise the department of confirmed bookings.

When students wish to book an off-campus room (i.e Lane Cove Road Training Room), they should give completed Visiting Speaker Form to Ramon Fernandez for approval. When approved, they should book through the online room booking system at Office of Facilities Management (OFM) and specify that they have permission from the Chiropractic Department to book the room.
