This page is for all current undergraduate chiropractic students. This page is designed to inform undergraduate students about relevant information that may be of use throughout your time at Macquarie.
Student Email
It is a university requirement that all students check their student email account. The Department of Chiropractic sends important information to your student email on a regular basis. This information is to inform students of important deadlines, application processes, exam information, timetabling problems/changes etc. The university also sends imperative information regarding enrolment matters, fee information etc. To avoid disappoint check your student email account weekly!
HECS-HELP & FEE-HELP
For students who need financial assistance there are a range of options. The Bachelor of Chiropractic is supported by the Australian Government and students enrolled can apply for HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP if they are Australian Citizens. For detailed information, refer to the going to uni website or download the two PDFs which will answer all questions. Remember that these assistance programs have deadlines.

Financial Assistance and Scholarships
Macquarie University has announced a range of new scholarships which are available to students. To find out more, follow this link. Chiropractic Students may also view information regarding loans from the NSW Student Trust Fund.
DEST has advised the university that our application to include the Master of Chiropractic program for student income support based on it being a professionally - orientated masters by coursework program has been approved. Students will of course need to meet the guidelines for benefits as outlined on the Centrelink website for Youth Allowance, Austudy or Abstudy. MQUAL (Master Qualifying students)
All Master Qualifying Students should refer to their individual program which was designed by the Department prior to the commencement of their program. Your individual program outlines all the units your need to complete in order to apply into the Master of Chiropractic. If your program is updated (with further alterations/ exemptions from units) you must notify the Administration Department so that your program can be amended. All MQUAL students are to attend MQUAL classes regardless if you have 1 or 2 yr programs. These classes are specially designed for the program. Below are important links for MQUAL students.
